Subscription & Billing
Trial, plans, payment, and how your subscription works
Subscription & Billing
Kalend starts with a free trial, and you move to a paid plan whenever you're ready. This page explains the trial, the plans, payment, and how your subscription works.
Free Trial
When you create a new account, a 30-day free trial begins.
- No credit card required — we don't ask for card details for the trial.
- All Pro features are unlocked during the trial, so you can try Kalend with no restrictions.
- You can see the remaining days in the info bar at the top and under Settings → Subscription.
The trial is granted only once. After it ends, you'll need to choose a plan to continue.
Plans
There are two plans:
- Starter — manage up to 5 active listings.
- Pro — manage unlimited listings.
You can always see current prices on the Pricing page. Prices are in Turkish Lira and include VAT. Monthly billing is currently available.
A subscription belongs to the host only. People you invite to your team (co-hosts or housekeepers) are never charged separately; they work under your subscription.
How to Pay
- Go to Settings → Subscription.
- Choose the Starter or Pro plan.
- On the payment screen, accept the Distance Sales Agreement.
- Enter your card details and complete the payment.
Payments are processed through iyzico, a secure payment provider. Your card details are never stored in Kalend.
Once payment succeeds, your subscription activates immediately and you'll see a confirmation message on the Subscription tab.
After Payment
Once payment is complete, the Settings → Subscription tab shows:
- Last payment date — when you last paid.
- Valid until — how long your subscription is active for.
Subscriptions don't renew automatically. You extend by paying again through the same steps. If you pay before your current period ends, the new period is added on top of your remaining days.
Listing Limit (Starter Plan)
The Starter plan allows up to 5 active listings.
- If you choose Starter while you have more than 5 active listings, Kalend warns you and moves the most recently added extra listings to passive (it never deletes them).
- Passive listings are not lost; you can reactivate them once you upgrade to Pro or free up space by making another listing passive.
- Making a listing passive is always free and never counts against the limit.
For unlimited listings, upgrade to Pro.
What Happens When It Expires
When your subscription or trial ends, your account switches to read-only mode:
- Your data is never deleted — your listings, reservations, and history stay exactly as they were.
- You can view existing information but can't make new changes.
- Automatic calendar sync and task creation stop.
- As soon as you subscribe again, everything comes back and you continue where you left off.
So even if your subscription ends, none of your data is lost.
Refunds & Withdrawal
Kalend is a digital service that starts immediately after payment. Because you accept the Distance Sales Agreement at payment, there are no mid-period refunds; your subscription stays valid until the end of the period. See the Distance Sales Agreement and Delivery & Returns pages for details.
Frequently Asked
Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends? No. Since we don't collect card details, there's no automatic charge. If you want to continue, you choose a plan and pay yourself.
Will my team members have to pay too? No. The subscription belongs to the host only. Team members work under your subscription for free.
Will my listings be deleted when my subscription ends? No. None of your data is deleted; your account only becomes read-only. Everything returns when you subscribe again.
