Timeline

The Timeline page is a modern flow view that lets you browse your reservations month by month, on a per-listing basis. It offers a vertical list that is easy to use on your phone.

What is Timeline?

Timeline is a page that displays your reservations with a "listing-focused long-term tracking" approach. Unlike the Calendar, it uses a vertical list instead of a horizontal grid — which makes it especially useful for mobile devices.

It consists of two screens:

  • Main list (/flow) — Shows all your listings as simple cards
  • Listing detail (/flow/[listing]) — A four-month timeline of the selected listing

Main List Page

The first screen you see when you open Timeline.

Top of the Page

The top of the page contains the page title and two buttons:

  • Refresh Calendar — Re-fetches all your iCal links immediately. A green message appears with the result: "3 added, 1 updated"
  • Import CSV — For bulk reservation upload (visible to users with the Manage Manual Reservations permission)

Summary statistic cards appear below (active listing count, reservations, occupancy).

Listing Cards

Your listings are listed as simple cards. Each card shows only the listing name — summary data (last reservation, occupancy, platform info) is not displayed on this page.

This simplicity is intentional: to see details, click the card of the listing you're interested in to navigate to the detail page.

If there are no listings, the "No listings to display" message appears.

Listings you have deactivated are not shown on this page.

Listing Detail Page

When you click a listing card, you go to that listing's four-month timeline.

Top of the Page

  • ← Back — Returns to the main list
  • Listing name — Shows which listing's timeline you're viewing
  • Add Reservation — To add a manual reservation (visible to users with the Manage Manual Reservations permission)

Monthly Sections

The page lists four months vertically:

  1. Last month (e.g., April 2026)
  2. This month (e.g., May 2026)
  3. Next month (e.g., June 2026)
  4. Two months later (e.g., July 2026)

When the page opens, it automatically scrolls to the section containing this month. This way, you focus on the current situation without getting lost in the stack of listings.

There is no date navigation (forward/back) — the window is fixed.

Reservation Cards

Each reservation appears as a card below its month. The card shows:

  • Date range (e.g., "May 3 → May 7")
  • Platform badge (Airbnb, Booking, Agoda, VRBO or Other — colored)
  • Number of nights (e.g., "4 nights" or "4 days" for blocked entries)

The guest name is not visible on the card. You'll see guest information when you click the card to open the detail panel. This protects privacy when your screen is open in front of others.

Ongoing Stay

If a guest is currently staying at your listing, the reservation card is surrounded by a Bondi teal highlight and an "Ongoing stay" label. This way you can instantly tell who is currently at the listing.

Blocked Entries

Days you close on platforms like Airbnb or Booking (Not available) or reservations reflected from another platform are shown in Timeline like this:

  • Card with gray border
  • "Blocked" label
  • Duration info in the form "X days"

You can also add manual reservations on blocked entries. The system does not treat blocked entries as conflicts.

Empty Months

If there are no entries for a month, the "No entries for this month" message appears. Other months still appear in the list.

Reservation Detail

The detail panel that opens when you click a card is the same as on the Calendar page. Here you can see/do:

  • Guest name (for manual reservations only), date, platform, nights, guests, price
  • Edit guest count and price
  • Delete manual/CSV reservations
  • Add and read comments

For more information about the detail panel, see the "Reservation Detail" section on the Calendar page.

Adding a Manual Reservation

There is no Add Manual Reservation button on the main list page. Instead, navigate to the relevant listing's detail page and use the "Add Reservation" button there.

In the dialog, the listing is automatically selected — you enter date, guest name, platform, guest count, and price to add the reservation.

Note: The system currently supports TRY, USD, EUR, and GBP currencies. If you need to use another currency, please email us.

Mobile Use

Timeline is designed with mobile devices in mind:

  • Single-column vertical list — no horizontal scrolling required
  • Auto-scroll to today's month when opened
  • Touch-friendly card sizes
  • Loads quickly

When tracking reservations on your phone, you may prefer Timeline over Calendar.

Access and Permissions

To see the Timeline page, you need the View Calendar permission. This permission is shared between Calendar and Timeline — if you can see one, you can see the other.

How permissions work for these actions:

  • Viewing the page: Anyone with the View Calendar permission
  • Refresh Calendar (manual sync): Anyone who can view the page
  • Opening reservation detail: Anyone who can view the page
  • Adding comments: Anyone who can view the page
  • Viewing price information: Those with the View Price permission
  • Adding manual reservations, CSV import: Those with the Manage Manual Reservations permission
  • Editing reservations (guests/price): Those with the Manage Manual Reservations permission
  • Deleting manual/CSV reservations: Those with the Manage Manual Reservations permission

Even if you can view the page, you only see listings assigned to you and their reservations.

For all details on the permission system, see the Team page.

Difference Between Timeline and Calendar

Both pages draw from the same data but offer different perspectives:

CalendarTimeline

ScopeAll listings on one screenSingle listing detail page
Window15 days (25 fullscreen)4 months (fixed)
Date navigationForward/back buttonsNone — fixed window
Platform filterAvailableNone

Which page you should use depends on the situation:

  • Daily operations, occupancy map: Calendar — to see all listings side by side
  • Long-term tracking of a specific listing: Timeline — to examine month by month
  • Quick mobile view: Timeline — comfortable on phone

Tips

  • If you're using mobile, prefer Timeline — Calendar is narrow on mobile.
  • If you want to know which guest is staying today, check the "Ongoing stay" highlight.
  • Timeline has no date navigation — to view older months, use Calendar (can go back up to 365 days).
  • Since there is no filter, all reservations are listed — for platform-based sorting, prefer Calendar.
  • On the detail page, "Add Reservation" auto-selects that listing — to pick a different listing, return to the main list and select the right listing.
